About 2.45pm on Wednesday (28/3) Warren Police were called to the intersection of The Oxley Highway and Industrial Access Road after a truck had rolled.
On arrival police found that a B double had rolled whist negotiating a left hand turn from The Oxley Highway into Industrial Access Road.
The prime-mover and the first trailer tipped, with the second trailer remaining upright.
The truck was carrying grain destined for Queensland at the time of the accident.
A 51 year old Queensland man was treated at the scene for only minor injuries. The intersection was closed for about an hour whist a clean-up operation was undertaken by Warren Shire Council staff.
A small leak of hydraulic oil was lost from the upturned prime-mover which was attended to crews from the RFS and NSW Fire and Rescue.
Whilst the intersection was closed a heavy vehicles were diverted through the township of Warren.
Inspector Dan Skelly says "Police were quickly on scene after receiving a report that a truck had rolled. Luckily the driver was relatively uninjured but shaken after the ordeal. The cabin of the prime-mover suffered substantial damage with the driver to having to extricate himself through a window. warren Shire Council staff, RFS and NSW Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene cleaning up the grain and a small oil spill."
