More Funding for School Maintenance in Dubbo

$3.9 million for Improvements

More Funding for School Maintenance in Dubbo

Another funding boost for the Dubbo Electorate, as local MP Troy Grant has announced an additional $400,000 dollars investment into school maintenance.

It comes following Mr. Grant's public push for additional funding, earlier this year. His call was answered with $3.5 million provided towards school maintenance spend.

Parliamentary Secretary for Education Gareth Ward joined Mr. Grant in Dubbo today to make the announcement, taking the total funding for the Dubbo electorate to $3.9 million.

“More great news for schools across the Dubbo electorate today, I thank the Parliamentary Secretary for visiting and bringing with him much needed additional funding,” Mr Grant said.

The State Government has allocated $390 million over a two year period, to reduce the maintenance backlog in schools across NSW.

The funding will target improvements for roofing, floor coverings, painting and other maintenance projects.
