Council Releases Statement Following Removal Of Trees

Tree removals at Victoria Park between number 2 and 3 ovals are finishing up today & Dubbo Regional Council has released a documented summary of all the information surrounding the works.

The removal of several trees - to make way for a new 70 space sealed off road car park - is part of the Victoria Park Master Plan, which is seeing major redevelopments undertaken at the sporting precinct.

In the statement, the Council outlined that the trees that were removed & will be replaced around the car park and in the immediate vicinity.

Council says that while there will be a loss of shade for a while, the new trees will have a life expectancy of 100 years.
