Council Cuts On Alcohol

Good News For Ratepayers

Council Cuts On Alcohol

An amendment to the Dubbo Regional Councils Code of Conduct, alcohol to longer be supplied to councillors and senior staff, at the cost of ratepayers.

A win for Dubbo and Wellington residents, Councillor John Ryan making the amendment at Monday night’s meeting, for alcohol to only be supplied for mayoral or civic receptions, or for functions approved by the General Manager.

The changes mean that Alcohol won’t be provided after events like council meetings, where it was previously purchased with ratepayer dollars.
