Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from Tuesday on the Mitchell Highway at Dubbo for utility and survey investigations to be carried out at the Cobra Street and Fitzroy Street intersection.
Member for Dubbo Troy Grant said to minimise impact to motorists work will be carried out between 7pm to 5am from Tuesday 19 June to Thursday 21 June and Wednesday June 27 to Sunday 8 July, weather permitting.
“Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists between 7pm and 10pm and local diversions will be in place from 10pm to 5am,” Mr Grant said.
Access to businesses during work hours and access to residences will be maintained.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the direction of signs and traffic control. Variable message signs will also be used to support local diversions.
Roads and Maritime thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
