Central West Makes Top 10 For Drug Driving Convictions

Following More Mobile Drug Tests

A new report shows the Central West makes the top 10 worst places for drug driving convictions in New South Wales.

The Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research finding over the year to last June the region saw about 222 people hit with a criminal record in our courts for every 100,000 people, compared with the state average of 92.9.

BOCSAR says police have been conducting more mobile drug tests under a Government directive in 2015, upping charges by 320% over the period.
