Residents of Dubbo, Wellington and the surrounding areas, will soon have the chance to trial a new public bus service, connecting Dubbo and Tamworth.
Transport NSW announced the trial, which is set to greatly enhance current travel options and connectivity.
The proposed service would see buses begin the commute in Tamworth, travelling to Gunnedah, through to Coonabarabran, Gilgandra and Eumungerie, before getting to Dubbo. Return services will also be available.
With no current transport options for those of us wanting to travel between Tamworth and Dubbo, the connection will provide new opportunities to residents, also supporting current XPT services, travelling between Bathurst, Orange, Lithgow and Dubbo.
We can have our say on the proposal here.
A start date for the trial is yet to be announced.
