A 24-year-old woman was taken to a Toowoomba Hospital on the weekend after sustaining burns to 18% of her body.
Queensland Ambulance Service was called out to the incident at Glenvale on Saturday morning.
The woman received burns to her arms and chest from a scolding hot liquid.
A Queensland ambulance spokesperson said the woman was being treated for burns and was is in a stable condition.
