A man and woman have died following a single vehicle traffic crash which occurred in Allora this morning.
Initial information suggests around 9.20am a vehicle travelling on the New England Highway left the roadway and rolled south of the Clarke Road intersection.
The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The female passenger was transported to Toowoomba Base Hospital where she passed away a short time later.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
An elderly man has been killed and his passenger left trapped in a single vehicle rollover near Allora around 8:30am this morning.
Firefighters worked to free the woman from the vehicle which blocked one lane of the New England Highway just north of Allora.
The woman aged in her 80’s is believed to have suffered chest injuries and was rushed to the Toowoomba Hospital.
Ambulance, the fire service and police still remain at scene while the Forensic Crash Unit have been called in to start their investigations.
The road is expected to be closed until later today.
