Two climate change protesters are in custody, after chaining themselves to a concrete barrel at Acland's coal loading facility.
The duo were protesting against Stage 3 of the Acland Coal Mine, choosing to the railway line at Jondaryan as there protest location.
Police worked for 40 minutes to get their arms out of a barrel that had been filled with concrete.
Aurizon have condemned the actions of the pair, saying everyone has a right to an opinion but it can take coal trains more than 2 kilometers to stop even when the emergency brake is applied.
