Two men have been left in serious but stable conditions after suffering serious burns after an electric shock at a farm near Tara.
The two men were using an auger when it struck overhead power lines. Both sustained serious burns from the incident.
The Brisbane based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter and Toowoomba based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter transferred the two men aged 17 and 76 separately after they were transported to Tara hospital via Queensland Ambulance Services.
The men were treated on the scene by paramedics from Queensland Ambulance Services and transported to Tara hospital where RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopters airlifted them to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.
