Toowoomba's Grammar School headmaster is one the highest paid Grammar School’s headmasters in Queensland with earnings of over half a million dollars.
The six figure wage makes him the third highest paid Grammar School headmaster in the state.
Mr Peter Hauser’s annual salary sits at $503,000, Townsville Grammar Principal Richard Fairley comes in second according to document tabled in Parliament. Mr Fairley took home $506,000 before retiring at the end of 2017. Brisbane Grammar’s Anthony Micallef tops the list with $555,000 a year.
Toowoomba’s Mr Hauser's 2017 salary of $503,000 was revealed in the school's annual report tabled alongside that of Queensland’s seven other grammar schools.
The top three Grammar heads salaries all surpass that of Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk's with her annual earnings of $400,000.
