A man has plead guilty to a number of offences that took place last year, including a car-jacking in Toowoomba’s CBD.
31-year-old William Kenneth James Browns appeared in the District Court yesterday to face charges of holding a taxi driver at knife point and taking off in the cab.
The incident happened 12 months ago.
Brown was handed a 3-year sentence and will be eligible for parole late October.
According to the Chronicle, Brown's barrister argued he'd come from a dysfunctional background and had a long standing drug problems.
