A toddler was airlifted to a Brisbane hospital yesterday after sustaining burns when she allegedly fell into a campfire.

An RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter critical care doctor and LifeFlight QAS paramedic treated the 2-year-old girl for burn injuries after sustaining burns to her hands and legs.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper airlifted the young child and her mother to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital, where she is receiving further treatment.

The accident happened just after 10:30am yesterday near Warwick.
