Thanks to the public phoning police with information on suspected crime(s), 35 people have been charged on a combined 90 counts after police raids swept Toowoomba this week.

Public tip-offs led to 18 raids across Toowoomba on Thursday, uncovering stolen property, cannabis and methamphetamines, which led to 35 people being charged with close to 100 offences, including drug supply and possession as well as possessing suspected stolen property.

A specialist team from Brisbane and a drug detection dog were called in as part of Operation Quebec Trawler.

Police have praised the local community for their involvement, reminding us that no piece of information is too big or too small.
