Tenders Now Open for New Housing Complex

Toowoomba builders are being encouraged to register their interest with the Queensland government for a social housing development project in Rangeville.

Works set to kick off soon on 58 new dwellings in Toowoomba as part of a $24 million spend announced in the Queensland budget.

The Rangeville complex will comprise 58 social housing dwellings which will include 16 one bedroom apartments to be built over the next 5 years and is expected to cost around $24 million.

Housing Minister Mick De Brenni says that the project will support the equivalent of up to 13 full time jobs over the 5-year period along with supporting the residential construction industry in Toowoomba.
