A Toowoomba teen has pleaded guilty to number of drug charges when he fronted court yesterday.

Police found 21 grams of marijuana, 73 tablets of LSD and six ecstasy tablets along with mobile phones, scales and cash when his family home was raided in July last year.

The Toowoomba magistrate told the teenage drug dealer that he was very lucky after pleading guilty to the charges as he has been prosecuted as a juvenile because he is four months away from turning 17.  Had he have been caught a few months later he could have been trialed as an adult and could have faced jail time.

The teenager was placed on two years’ probation.
