A 23-year-old Scarborough man was charged earlier this month with attempted murder, possession of a category D/H/R weapon, possession of ammunition, stealing and various driving offences including two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, fail to stop, driving unlicensed, unregistered and uninsured.

He has been remanded in custody to reappear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on September 14.

Investigations are continuing.
