Police Seek Public Assistance in Relation to Altercation in Toowoomba CBD

On January 26 at about 10:34pm an altercation involving two men and a woman occurred on the corner of Ruthven and Margaret Streets, Toowoomba.

The incident occurred following an exchange of words between the victim and a group of people.

It is alleged that a woman from the group approached the man and attempted to kick him in the stomach area. The man was able to grab hold of the woman’s leg which led to her falling over.

This resulted in a man approaching who later received medical treatment after sustaining a fractured eye socket.

Police wish to speak with two people (pictured below) they believe may be able to assist with their investigations.

The man is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, wearing a black singlet and dark short, and the woman is described as wearing a white top.
