Police Execute Successful Siege in Dalby
Following repeated 000 calls
Around 3:45pm yesterday afternoon Dalby police were called out to a Pratten Street address after receiving numerous triple zero calls.
The calls were made by a male at the residence, who claimed there was another man at the address with weapons and was threatening to shoot the caller.
Police cordoned off the area, a police negotiator was brought in with a 38-year-old man being apprehended a short time later.
The man was taken to the Dalby Hospital for assessment before being transferred to the Dalby watch house.
He was charged with serious assault of a police officer and was remanded in custody. He appeared before the Dalby Magistrates Court today.
