Police Ask for Public Assistance Locating Stolen Cattle

The Toowoomba Major and Organised Crime Squad (MOCS) is appealing for information regarding four cattle stolen from a Kurumbul property last month.

The four Santa Gertrudis, Droughtmaster and Charolais cross bullocks were reported stolen from the Kildonan Road property between July 10 and July 25.

Investigations suggest the cattle were moved from a paddock to a nearby yard where their National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) tags were removed before they were stolen from the property.

The cattle (similar to the ones pictured) weigh around 550 kilograms and are all branded with a Queensland brand depicting the letters PWD on the near left side rump over a number 5.

Any members of the public who know their whereabouts or have information of the theft are asked to contact police.

Information can be provided to local police, Crime Stoppers or directly to Toowoomba MOCS Rural detectives on (07) 4614 2114.

Investigations are continuing.
