Police Appeal to Witnesses of Hit and Run

Police are appealing for witnesses following a hit and run in Toowoomba North on Tuesday, November 14.

Initial investigations indicate at 11am a blue sedan was travelling east along Bridge Street when it collided with a white utility, causing the utility to collide with a third car at the intersection of Hume Street and Bridge Street.

An injured woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dash cam vision from the crash to come forward to police.

In particular police would like to speak to the driver of a teal coloured sedan, believed to be a 2011-2013 Holden Cruze that was either a CDX or CRI model (similar to the one pictured).

The car is believed to have Western Australian registration plates, possibly with C26 in them.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
