A fishing trip has ended badly for a man 25-year-old man at Nundubbermere over night.
The man fell 8 meters from a cliff after rocks gave way after rocks he was standing on gave way.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene around 7:30PM, attending to the man who has sustained scratches and two fractured ankles.
Crews managed to rescue the man who had fallen to the bottom the cliff around 3:45am this morning making the 3km trek out of Sundown National Park.
He was taken to Stanthorpe Hospital in a stable condition.
