New safety measures are to be put in place to upgrade Drayton Street in Dalby after two incidents involving children at the corner of Arthur & Drayton Streets in Dalby.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads have given the big tick of approval for the changes which will included traffic controllers to be stationed on weekdays at the roadworks between 6am and 9pm.
The speed limit will also be reduced to 40 kilometres an hour.
The changes come after one young boy lost his life at the intersection and another was injured.
