The South West has more than 1500 kids in care because of abuse or violence in the home.

Those staggering numbers showing the need for help when it comes to children having a stable home to go to.

‘Hope for Our Children' Director Nadine Wright is working hard to see changes in the system.

Ms Wright founded the company after seeing thousands of kids bounce from foster care after they had been removed from their homes because of abuse.

Many children are bouncing from home to home because of trauma sustained from abuse and they're needing foster families who have the time and patience to help them.

More than 1500 kids are currently being fostered or living in residential care in the South West - one of the worst regions and smallest in the state.

She says since the company started they have one program running trying to help kids who can't be housed.

Ms Wright says they are in need of more people to put their hand up and help.

Can you help?
