After a series of auditions last weekend, Roma Performing Arts have announced the cast of their latest production, Peter Pan the British Musical.

Local school students Brent Garvie, of Roma State College, and Sarah Hall, of St John's Catholic School, have taken on the legendary roles of Peter Pan and Wendy Darling (respectively). Both Garvie and Hall were thrilled to accept their roles and have already begun learning their lines for the August showing.

Of the casting, Director Trent Sellars commented, "Sarah was a natural for the role of Darling, she brings a Disney princess vibe to the character. Similarly, Brent's interpretation of this iconic figure is just magical. We have a strong cast all round and an very supportive production team. Set construction has already begun and official rehearsals will begin on June 4th."

Over the coming months Sellars will mentor these two young people as their learn lines, choreography and vocal scores. "It helps that both Brent and Sarah have performed before, but really it is their natural talents that will make my job easier."

No stranger to the Roma Cultural Centre stage, Trent Sellars last year performed as Peter Allen in a successful run of The Boy From Oz.
