A drug bust has resulted in 16 people being charged after raids on 20 homes.
Southern Queensland Police say they are extremely happy with the results of recent raids in St George.
The raids saw the execution of 20 search warrants, resulting in 16 local alleged offenders being charged with 37 offences, and South West Detective Inspector Paul Hart said Operation Papa Cast produced "decent results" with cannabis and ice utensils amongst the items seized.
According to Detective Inspector Hart, the charges relate primarily to drugs, including trafficking of a dangerous drug, possession of a dangerous drug and supply of a dangerous drug.
However, some were bail-out offences, along with five weapons charges. One breaking and entering charge was also recorded.
The operation included local police along with the state dog squad, Darling Downs tactical squad and other district resources.
The alleged offenders will face court in May and June.
