Eight cattle are still are large in Rangeville after a livestock truck rolled late yesterday afternoon causing all kinds of peak hour chaos on the corner of James and Cohoe Street.

A truck carrying cattle tipped onto its side just after 5PM.

17 cattle were euthanized while 41 were uninjured and were loaded back into the truck.  While the driver of the truck was not hurt, a man standing nearby was charged at by a cow and sustained leg injuries.

Police report that 8 cattle are still roaming the area with residents in Rangeville have reported seeing the animals in the streets.

Emergency services worked well into the early hours to clear the scene which was re-opened this morning.
