Jason William Binney is due to face murder charges in a Dalby court on April 4.

The accused case has been pushed back six weeks after his lawyer stepped down citing "conflict" issues.

Binney is accused of murdering Dalby man Mark Wilkes and is facing arson, entering a dwelling with intent, murder and theft charges.

Acting Magistrate Roger Stark has given the new defence lawyer more time to look over the case.
