Dalby Man to Front Court on Multiple Driving Offences

A Dalby man has a date with the courts to face a string of charges relating to the role he played in a dangerous driving incident last week.

Police will allege the offender was behind the wheel of a car that was seen doing burnouts and driving recklessly on the intersection of Edward and Orpen St in Dalby on Thursday night (August 16).

The incident resulted in a collision with another car at the intersection around 11.30pm, both the driver and two other occupants of the vehicle fled the scene.

Dalby Police found the man at his home on Friday night and have charged him with several offences, including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and driving while unlicenced, unregistered and uninsured.

He will appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on October 2.
