A 14-year-old girl has led police on a wild road pursuit in NSW after stealing a car from Kearneys Spring.

The Chronicle reports that the car was taken on Monday by three young girls.

On Tuesday morning police made an attempt to pursue the vehicle which was located travelling south on the Pacific Highway at Woombah but they were forced to end the pursuit due to dangerous driving.

All three teenage girls were eventually arrested at Cowper on the Pacific Highway, after the vehicle they were driving collided with a truck.

The 14-year-old driver was charged with six offences while the two others aged 12 and 14-years old will be dealt with under the young offenders act.
