Pedestrian Struck by 4WD in Coffs Harbour

A pedestrian has been struck by a 4WD in Coffs Harbour.

Just after 2pm the incident occurred on Albany Street, near the Earl Street roundabout.

NSW ambulance paramedics treated the patient at the scene before taking them to the Coffs Harbour Base Hospital.

Bystanders directed traffic at the roundabout until Police arrived, who then blocked the section of Albany Street between Earl Street and Gordon Street.

Motorists were advised to take care in the area and avoid the scene.

Albany Street has since been reopened, police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
