Detectives Call Off Search For William Tyrrell

After no evidence found near Kendall

Detectives have called off the search for missing Mid-North Coast boy William Tyrrell after weeks of searching remote bushland.

The then three-year-old boy went missing from the front yard of his grandmother's home in 2014 in Kendall, 40kms south of Port Macquarie. 

Forensic investigators and cadaver dogs were sent to the area three weeks ago to search for evidence, but were unsuccessful. 

A coronial inquest will take place later this year.
