Local residents in Coffs Harbour will be able to find out the crime hot spots in the region with a new initiative from the Coffs Clarence Police District and the Coffs Harbour City Council.
The first Community Precinct Safety Consultation will take place on Thursday in Coffs Harbour.
The presentation will take place in the Council Chambers prior to the regular council meeting, where Police from the Coffs Clarence Police District will outline local crime statistics, along with issues and trends, followed by a Q & A session with Councillors and senior Council staff.
The local community is invited to attend the session, allowing residents to understand local crime trends and work together to develop local solutions to tackle and drive down crime in the area.
Each session will focus on one particular topic of interest, in response to local issues and concerns.
The session will commence at 4:30pm, Thursday 22 March at the Coffs Harbour Council Chambers, Cnr Coff and Castle Streets.
