Coffs Harbour's in for a scorcher today, with the Bureau of Meteorology tipping the mercury will hit 30 degrees.
According to the Weather Bureau's data, that's a good 10 degrees above the average maximum temperature for August.
Despite this, BOM data shows it won't be a record breaker, with our hottest August temp coming in at 34 degrees back in 2009.
It's off the back of the Mid North Coast forecast district - including our city - recording its hottest July in 50 years.
It'll be windy today too, with a strong marine wind warning in place for the Coffs Coast.
Keep up to date with conditions at the BOM website.
