Support The Emu Park Lions' Oktoberfest Fundraiser For More Awesome Community Projects

Residents are already LOVING the new outdoor fitness equipment along the Pattison Street walkway!

The Lions Club of Emu Park initiated the $50,000+ project with a grant from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. 

The equipment, which has been created to suit people of all ages and abilities, is an opportunity for the Lions Club to support a healthy community by encouraging people to exercise without cost. 

Fitness activities and an active healthy lifestyle are essential to improved health longevity and enjoyment of life. With the rates of overweight and obesity levels on the rise... it is an issue that needs to be addressed.

The Lions are now preparing for their annual major fundraiser 'Oktoberfest', which will be held Saturday 27th October at Bell Park, Emu Park from 11am-10pm.

The funds raised at the event will go towards benefiting the community with more projects like the outdoor fitness equipment.
