Sandbags
Please note: There has been a change to the North Rockhampton sand pile location.
- North Rockhampton - Bridge and Goodsall Street (opposite the Victorian Tavern near the bicycle cycle track at the PCYC)
- South Rockhampton- Rockhampton Showgrounds on Exhibition Road
- Gracemere - carpark near Gracemere Swimming Pool, Fisher Street.
Please bring your own sand bags or double plastic bags as well as your own shovel.
A limited number of empty sandbags will be available outside the Council’s Dooley Street Depot as well as at the Showgrounds and Gracemere sand pile locations.
Please lend a hand to help each other with filling bags at these sites and be considerate and only take what you need.
