Woman Punched In Lake Munmorah Road Rage Incident Sentenced

The woman at the centre of a nasty road rage incident in Lake Munmorah last July will serve 140 hours of community service over her role.

22-year-old Bianca Lee Sams pleaded guilty to intentionally throwing nails and a chisel at Lake Macquarie man Clinton Matthew Pollard's vehicle on the Pacific Highway near Elizabeth Bay Drive last year.

In Wyong Court yesterday, Sams was also fined $500 for hanging out the window of her friend's car.

Pollard responded by getting out of his car at an intersection and punching Sams in the face. A dashcam on the car behind his filmed the incident, and it went viral.

The 44 year old's since received a three-year good behaviour bond for his actions.

While the driver of the car Ms Sams was in, Taylor Bembridge, was also charged and convicted, after trying to run over Pollard. Bembridge's 5 month old baby was in the car at the time.
