A woman aged in her 50s suffered significant lower limb injuries when she had an accident near Alison this afternoon.
The woman was riding her motorcycle no when she reportedly hit the guardrail near the corner of Hue Hue and Yarramalong Roads.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked at 5.24pm, landing in a school grounds near the accident scene.
NSW Ambulance met CareFlight’s medical team at the school, taking them to the accident scene nearby, where CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care joined NSW Ambulance paramedics who were providing initial treatment.
Due to the injuries sustained by the motorcyclist she was flown by CareFlight to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
