Tributes are flowing on social media this morning for a former Brisbane Water Secondary College student, tragically killed after she was hit by a minibus on Sydney's Lower North Shore in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Police say Tegan Miller had only just moved from Woy Woy to Sydney days before the accident which occurred around 12.40am.

Newscorp reports she was only a few minutes from home when she pulled over on the Warringah Freeway at Crows Nest to change a flat tyre.

The 24 year old suffered fatal injuries after being hit by the passing vehicle.

A man that stopped to assist before she was struck, was treated for shock. While the male driver of the minibus was taken to hospital for mandatory testing. 

Friends and family are remembering the young woman for her positivity, bubbly personality, kind heartedness, and inspirational take on life. Hundreds have taken to Tegan's Facebook page to express their condolences.
