A letter from the Member for Terrigal arrived at Central Coast Council this week, calling on it to get on with providing a proposal for a seawall at Wamberal.

Adam Crouch wrote to Administrator Ian Reynolds and CEO Rob Noble of the project's vital importance for the consideration of costing determinations and potential funding.

In the letter, Mr Crouch also reminds the two while a Cost Benefit Analysis is due to be finalised this month, no funding can be considered by the Office of Environment and Heritage without a plan.

Margaret Brice from the Wamberal Protection Association has welcomed the MP's support, while again questioning the delays by Council.

"Council is dragging its heels unfortunately: This wall has been in the pipeline for probably nearly twenty years," Ms Brice said.

"There's a lot of information and justification behind the scenes for it means there's no reason for Council not to start at least putting a placeholder in with the state government for some of that 83 million dollars."

"It's been more than a year since the storms, and we've go no protection - nothing has happened whatsoever - and we're not allowed to make any temporary protections to our homes."
