An east coast low is currently moving across the Coast. We're likely to see a bucket load falling over us this afternoon and overnight.
Heavy rain and flash flooding is expected in some parts of our region.
We're being told to expect thunderstorms and an excess of 100 mm rainfall over the next 24 hours.
As always, the State Emergency Service have issued the following advice:
- Do not approach floodwater, not even in your car
- Keep clear of creeks and storm drains
- If you find yourself in trouble, seek refuge in the highest place available and call Triple Zero (000) if you need rescuing
- For emergency help, call the SES on 132 500
Stay safe Coasties, look after yourselves and your neighbours.
