A new Primary School at Warnervale for up to 1000 students is among the projects set to be announced in tomorrow's state budget.
The news has been confirmed by Wyong MP David Harris and Parliamentary Secretary for the Central Coast Scot MacDonald this morning.
“This is a great win for the Wyong region," said Mr MacDonald. "The population is growing quickly and the Department of Education has identified the need for a brand new school at Warnervale. I believe this will be a big step forward in the growth and development of Warnervale.”
NewsCorp reports over the next two years, the Berejiklian government will start building or upgrading more than 123 schools, and complete work on a further 33 including Terrigal and Wamberal Public school.
