A motorbike rider's escaped serious injury after colliding with a ute on the M1 at Mooney Mooney this morning.
NSW Ambulance reps say the 58-year-old man's been taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with spine and chest pain after the smash just before 6:00am.
No other injuries are reported.

The accident site's been cleared up but it earlier caused major traffic delays heading into the city, with cars and trucks banking up for around 10 kilometres at one point.
Meantime, there are calls for Coasties to drive safely as we continue our morning commute.
