Police have charged a man following multiple break-ins on the Central Coast over the weekend.

 

Between 1am and 3am on Saturday, three homes in Picketts Valley were broken into with jewellery, cash and vehicles stolen.

 

A vehicle was also stolen from a home in Country View Close.

 

Two vehicles, a Range Rover and a Volkswagen Amarok, were later recovered after being found alight on Showground Road about 6.40am.

 

Following inquires, investigators from Brisbane Water Police District arrested a 21-year-old man at a home on Hills Street, Gosford yesterday.

 

Officers executed a search warrant, locating and seizing clothing, cash, cannabis, alcohol, and an NRL premiership ring.

 

The man was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with enter inclosed land without lawful excuse, steal motor vehicle (x3), larceny, aggravated break & enter dwelling etc in company intend steal (x2), goods in personal custody suspected being stolen, goods suspected stolen in/on premises, and possess prohibited drug.

 

He appeared in Gosford Local Court yesterday and was refused bail to appear in the same court on Friday July 27.
