Central Coast SES crews have been handing out sandbags overnight as the region prepares for heavy rains today.
The Weather Bureau says we're in for two thirds of our average March rainfall today alone, with 100mm expected, while Mangrove mountain typically gets 145mm over the month.
Both Gosford and Mangrove Mountain received just under 20mm since 6:00 overnight.
Our region remains on flood watch so keep an eye out if you're travelling around flooding hotspots like Burns Road at Ourimbah, as well as Barralong Road, Erina and in the Yarramalong Valley.
Keep up to date with the latest warnings via the Bureau Of Meteorology website.
If you need help, call the SES on 132 500, or in an emergency 000.
