Power has been restored after lights were blacked out and nearly 800 customers were affected by power outages which hit Lisarow and Ourimbah just before 10 this morning.

The outages were affecting an area between Dog Trap Road and Cutrock Road - Ausgrid reports emergency crews restored power to the area around 11:15am.

There are also a few road closures to watch out for if you're jumping in the car:

  • Durren Durren Road in Jilliby
  • Anzac Road and Ace Crescent in Tuggerah
  • Louisiana Road in Hamlyn Terrace
  • Shepard St at Umina
  • Lake View Rd in Wamberal

Mild hail has been reported falling in Terrigal.

Gosford SES Unit is urging motorists never to drive through floodwaters - and the Wyong unit has already received more than 20 calls. There is a tree down on Ruttleys Road approximately 400 metres from Vales Road if you are heading south towards Wyee - please avoid the area if possible - crews are on sight to remove the tree.
