Police are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated break and enter at a service station on the Central Coast early yesterday morning.

About 3:30AM, a male employee was in the office atĀ Forresters Beach Caltex, when he heard a loud noise.

HeĀ investigated and was confronted by two men, one armed with a hammer.

The men fled the store on foot, with a sum of cash and cigarettes.

They were last seen heading off in a westerly direction along Bellevue Road towards Tumbi Road.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

Police would like to speak with two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The first man is described as being approximately 168cm tall, of slim build, wearing a dark hooded jumper, dark coloured pants, and a black scarf with white stripes wrapped around his face.

The second man is described as wearing dark coloured clothing.
