A man's been charged after allegedly blowing more than two times the legal blood alcohol limit and escaping police on foot at The Entrance overnight.
Officers say they pulled the 43-year-old over after watching him drive on the wrong side of the road and erratically overtake other cars.
It was then he reportedly did a runner, jumping over several back fences in Duncan Street before being caught in a unit block on Oakland Avenue.
Police say his breath test came in at 0.127.
He's been hit with mid-range drink driving and resisting arrest offences.
The accused is currently behind bars to face Wyong Court today.
