Burgers and shakes delivered to your doorstep. Sounds too good to be true right?
Well, we can assure you Canberra, it’s real!
Deliveroo, the on-demand food delivery company, has launched in the ACT!
Canberra’s the seventh Australian city to get on board – which means locals can now order their favourite foods from over 40 premium restaurants signed up to service.
Canberrans can sample deliciousness from restaurants like Grease Monkey, C Seafood & Oyster Bar and Lazy Su when it opens on March 15.
The company has targeted those up on the hill - writing to Ministers, MPs and opposition staffers to let them know about the delicious food they can now get direct to their desk at Parliament House.
“We’re looking forward to bringing some of the town’s delicious dishes straight from the hands of local chefs to customers’ doors,” Deliveroo’s Australia Country Manager Levi Aron said.
“We already have a number of great partners across the city and we are eager to expand and widen the variety of restaurants on offer to our customers.”
Customers can schedule orders via the Deliveroo app up to one day in advance or get food delivered between 12 noon and 11pm from a variety of local, independent and high-quality chain restaurants.
Meals are delivered to homes, offices or even local hangouts in an average of 30 minutes or less!
Happy ordering Canberra!
